Both candid and compassionate, before i let you go explores a hotly divisive topic and asks how far the ties of family love can be stretched before they finally break. Twist came at part 2 and at the end. The main characters, who appear to be normal children at a boarding school, are actually (spoiler alert) clones being raised to have.

I tend not to make comparisons between authors and books, but the moral questions posed within before i let you go are reminiscent of issues and situations raised within novels written by jodi picoult and diane chamberlain, two authors i admire greatly. I’d not heard of novelist kelly rimmer before this new release. The final chapters of i let you go do allow for a certain amount of ambiguity. Before i let you go tells the complicated story of sisters lexie and annie vidler.
